MCX – Medium Cut Compound

MCX Medium Cut Compound is engineered to refine paintwork after heavy correction while setting the surface up for final polishing. Its advanced diminishing abrasive formula responds as you work, delivering strong defect removal at the start and an increasingly smooth finish as the abrasives break down.

Autoslick MCX is specifically formulated to refine paintwork following HCX Heavy Cut Compound. It reduces deeper correction marks.

Directions of use : 

Hand Application

1. Apply 2–5 small dots of MCX to a clean foam applicator or lint-free microfibre cloth.
2. Using light pressure, work the product into the paint in small sections (around 50cm x 50cm) using overlapping vertical and horizontal passes.
3. Allow the residue to dry to a light haze.
4. Remove with a clean, lint-free microfibre towel.

Machine Application

1. Apply 2–5 small dots of MCX to a light foam polishing pad.
2. Spread the compound over the surface using light pressure at the lowest machine speed.
3. Work in small areas (around 50cm x 50cm) using overlapping vertical and horizontal passes.
4. Increase speed to a maximum of 1000 RPM, continuing to work the compound until it turns clear.
5. Allow to haze slightly.
6. Buff off using a clean, lint-free microfibre towel.
